Founded on a Very Simple Idea
Pillarwise was founded in 2019 by a small group of people who noticed the same problem: many adults approaching their fifties and sixties had spent years working hard but had never sat down with a clear picture of what their retirement paperwork actually contained, or what questions they should be asking.
We are not a financial firm and we do not offer regulated advice. What we do offer is structured, general information — delivered calmly, at a pace that allows people to absorb it — along with practical help organising the physical and digital records that retirement eventually requires.
Our office on Ratsada Road in Phuket serves both expatriates who have built their careers in Thailand and Thai nationals who want a clearer sense of what to expect. We also work with HR departments that need well-documented internal reference materials for onboarding staff to pension administration responsibilities.

We believe that good preparation for later life should not be reserved for those who can afford ongoing professional advice. A well-run workshop and a tidy document folder can do a great deal — and they are within reach of anyone willing to put in a few hours of focused attention.
Our mission is straightforward: help people arrive at retirement with their paperwork in order and a clearer sense of the landscape. We do not make decisions for anyone. We give people better tools to make their own.

Document Privacy
Client documents are never retained beyond the engagement. All digital copies produced during our services are handed over to the client on completion and removed from our systems.
Scope Transparency
We make our scope clear from the outset. We provide general information and administrative support only. We do not interpret documents, give regulated advice or act on behalf of clients.
Accurate Reference Materials
Workshop handouts and HR documentation packs are reviewed before each delivery to ensure they reflect currently understood general processes and use clear, up-to-date language.
Accessible Session Sizes
Group workshops are capped at twelve participants so every attendee has space to ask questions and engage properly with the material rather than sitting passively through a lecture.
Data Protection Practices
Personal information collected through our contact forms and client records is handled in line with Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA). Details are in our Privacy Policy.
Post-Session Follow-Up
Workshop participants receive a follow-up note within five working days containing their reference materials and a brief recap of key points from the session.

Retirement Planning Information in Thailand — What Pillarwise Stands For
Pillarwise operates from Phuket and serves clients across southern Thailand. Our work sits in the space between knowing nothing and committing to a formal adviser relationship — a space that, in our experience, many people find themselves in and often struggle to navigate alone.
The three services we offer — group workshops, HR reference documentation and hands-on paperwork organisation — were each designed to address a specific, practical need. Workshops bring general knowledge within reach. HR kits give teams a consistent internal reference. Paperwork organisation turns a daunting stack of documents into a tidy, navigable record.
We work in English and are familiar with the context facing both expatriates and Thai nationals in the region. Participants in our workshops include people in their mid-forties beginning to think ahead, as well as those much closer to retirement who want a structured moment to take stock of where things stand.
We are not a law firm, a financial planning firm or an accounting practice. We are a small team who take document clarity seriously and believe that a well-informed person makes better decisions — with or without professional advisers alongside them.
